After having 3 of my own babies, I became fascinated by all things pregnancy, birth and postpartum.
When my youngest was only 6 months old, I trained as a Postpartum Doula and Newborn Care Specialist to provide support help to new mums'. Spending nights helping new mothers to catch up on sleep became the norm. Shortly after, I trained as a Labour Doula to provide comfort to women in labour. It wasn’t long before I trained as an internationally certified Prenatal Instructor, placenta encapsulation specialist and Lactation Counsellor. I started working with midwives as a midwifery birth assistant attending home and hospital births and teaching their prenatal classes for the local public health department. I obtained further training in Neonatal Resuscitation, Health Care Providers First Aid, Blood Borne Pathogens, Clinical Health, Hygiene and Safety and Food Handling Safety to further cover sanitation and hygiene.
I adored my life! Now I have relocated back to the UK and I want to start offering my services to women and their families in the North of England.
